Parent FAQs
What are your child nursery fees?
There is no set price, all our child care needs are tailored to you and your child.
Please call our admissions team on 02045010894 or email admissions@luckybeanschildcare.co.uk to receive our fees sheet for your chosen nursery or preschool and to arrange a tour.
Do you accept the government’s funded hours support?
Yes we do, we help parents access the 15 hours of support for 3 and 4 year-olds (or 30 hours of support if you qualify). The reduction this will make in your fees is illustrated on the fees sheet which our admissions team will send you.
What are the ratios of staff to children in the nurseries?
We adhere to the industry standard of 1 staff member to 3 children for 0-2 year-olds, 1 staff member to 4 children for 2-3 year-olds and 1 staff member to 8 children for 3-5 year-olds while in the nursery.
As we are a nursery company with a forest school ethos we spend a lot of time outdoors and when we are outdoors we have a higher ratio of staff to children than these ratios, to enable the children to explore and learn while being properly and safely supervised.
What sort of food do you serve? Can you work with my child’s allergies?
We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus two snacks in the morning & afternoon that are provided by our in-house chefs. Our delicious and healthy meals will fuel your little one's mind and body. Of course, we believe in balance, too! We also include a few yummy treats in our menu, because some foods are good for the soul.
All our chefs and relevant staff are trained in food hygiene holding a minimum of a Level 2 Certificate. We are understanding & accommodating to all dietary requirements, just let us know!
If your child is weaning, don’t worry, we have weaned many children successfully.
